Red and Yellow Card Rules

For 6-a-side and 11-a-side: Indoor Rules are followed - if a player receives a red card then there is a five-minute penalty given and the player is ejected.  A new player may enter the field of play after the five minutes.  If a player receives a yellow card then there may be a two minute penalty given upon the referee's discretion.  If a player receives two yellow cards in a game then a red card applies.

DISCIPLINE

All players who have been suspended for one or more games should have their player book brought into the OISL office during office hours to record their suspension in the book by a staff member.

All teams must be registered with their Ass'n before playing their first game

All players must have present a valid OSA  book at all times, in any game to be able to participate

 

August 21st, 2009
Playing format is Five (5) Players and a Goalkeeper for all ages from U8   to U18

for six a side game.

From ages 13 to 18 teams will play full size field eleven a side starting in 2008/09 Season.


November 5th, 2007
All Head coaches and Asst. coaches, whose team plays in the OISL, must have an O.S.A. Senior Community coaching certification.
